Composer, Sound Designer, Performer

Studied folk music at a municipal conservatory (1996-1999). Had engineering education at Istanbul Tech. University (2001-2006). Was active in some folk/traditional music ensembles and rock/metal bands. Quit engineering and studied sound design/composition at Yıldız Tech. University (2006-2009). Moved to Rotterdam and studied composition; worked as a composer/teacher/performer (2009-2014).

Obtained an MMus degree at Rotterdam Conservatory (Codarts) in 2012; and a PhD at MIAM (Center for Advanced Studies in Music), Istanbul Technical University in 2020.

Faculty member at Istanbul Bilgi University Music Department.
